It works on various different equipment and gives you all the codes you need to fix the problems on the equipment you are working on. Once you have finished your repairs the code reader allows you to clear the codes so the next time you need to work on the same equipment you don't have to worry about the old codes still showing up. The code reader will also provide you with some code definitions right on screen. It also comes with 9 pin and 6 pin cables which allows you to use this heavy-duty reader on a more equipment than if only one cable was provided.
