The installation was easy - but I did not use the locks on the valve cap senders, because I did not feel them to be necessary. Installing them would make it very difficult to add or remove air. They need to be tightened with an allen wrench, and are in almost inaccessible locations. If the sender caps did loosen, the alarm would go off, because there would be no air pressure in the tire. I guess someone could steal them, but they would have to already have the rest of the system.
The instructions call for mounting the receiver/repeater unit UNDER the vehicle, and it is waterproof for that reason. I installed it inside, under the dash, and it seems to work fine there. The video screen is a bit small, but is readable.
The receiver/repeater can be hard-wired, and the video comes with a 12 volt plug. Both can also use batteries, and the mfr says they will last 1-2 years.
Accuracy seems very good - I checked several of the tires with a gauge before installing the pressure sender caps, and the readings agreed to within 2 psi.
