(More customer reviews)This "universal" rack does NOT fit a 2007-newer Toyota Tundra unless you want to drill through your bed and permanently mount it. The "J" bolt mounting is unsecure, and down right dangerous! In any case, you cannot use this rack with the deck-rail system, so if you like your deck-rail system, just another reason to stay away from this rack. You also must remove or modify the plastic bed caps for the permanent mounting. Be aware that once you drill, you will not be able to replace the plastic bedcaps at all as the top of the bed where you will drill the holes line up pefectly with the mounting holes for the bed caps, so once you enlarge the holes, the bed cap will not secure anymore. I decided none of these options were good for me and got rid of this rack (but not before it fell off the bed because of the unsecure "J" bolt mounting and damaged my brand new truck.)
I have contacted Smittybilt about these problems, but they seemed unconcerned, they said it worked on every truck they tried, but admitted a Tundra was not one of them.
