(More customer reviews)I purchased this for my 2005 Chevy Silverado SS with the 6.0 V8. I decided to go with this spacer over some of the cheaper ones because of the JET name and the pattern it has on the inside. It actually modifies the air flow for better performance where many of the cheap spacers that are smooth inside do very little to change the dynamics. It took about 15 minutes to install and for the most part was painless. My truck has the electronic throttle so I had no cables to mess with, and the wires were long enough to reach the new location. There are two hoses that connect to the throttle body that allow coolant to flow from the engine through the TB and in to the radiator. This is to bring up the air temp faster (pre-heat) the TB. The short pre-formed hose on the engine side is not long enough to reach the new location and will need to be changed. I live a very moderate climate so it's not a big deal for me to bypass this. I just connected the radiator side hose (long enough) direct to the engine and bypassed the TB. This actually improves horsepower since the air coming in to the engine stays cooler. If you live in a cold area you should not bypass this, and will need to buy a longer piece of hose for the engine side.
